Rhonda received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and her Master’s of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Development from Capella University. She graduated her Master’s program with distinctive honors and a 4.0 cumulative GPA. She is currently taking post graduate courses in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Rhonda has been working with clients ranging from infancy through adults. She has worked with children and adolescents for 25 years. She is passionate about helping each client to prosper and supporting their positive overall development.
Rhonda has background in neurodevelopment, social development, cognitive, development, language development, emotional development and regulation, and behavior modification. She has had continuing education in Floortime, RDI, INPP, and Bal-a-vis-x. She believes in a holistic approach to development and uses a variety of developmental approaches to help those that she works with. These include affective and relational strategies, play interactions, modeling, self-efficacy promotion, and social-interactive learning techniques.
Rhonda has taught social skills classes for 4 year olds through adults. She has written children’s books, made a social skills game and App. and continues to create products for her developmental products business. Rhonda LOVES what she does!
